The Village of Kohler will be strictly enforcing the lawn mowing ordinance and your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.  After the first notice is given, further violations will result in the Public Works Dept. mowing it at a charge to you of $100.  The new grass that was planted last year also needs to be mowed.  Grass is a spreading plant and mowing it will encourage it to fill in.  The contractor will return this summer to repair areas that did not take.  8.86.030 – Grass maintenance and noxious weeds – All premises and exterior property landscape shall be properly maintained.  Non-ornamental grass shall not exceed six inches.  All noxious weeks shall be prohibited.  Cultivated flowers and gardens are allowed.
