Public Works Employment Ad

The Kohler Public Works Department is seeking a full time employee, 40 hours per week with overtime as necessary. Duties include but are not limited to: brush chipping, landscaping, pesticide application, chain saw operation, building maintenance, heavy equipment operations, engine repair, welding, minor electrical work, snow plowing, pool operations and concrete finishing. Knowledge of mechanical, HVAC and hydraulic systems preferred. Being a team player is a must. Will train as necessary. Starting hourly wage is $20 to $25 per hour, depending on qualifications. Nomination Papers for Spring Election

Tuesday, December 1, 2020, is the first day to circulate nomination papers for the 2021 Spring Election. The due date for filing papers is Tuesday, January 5, 2021. For more information contact the Village Clerk-Treasurer’s Office, 920-459-3873 or email

Dog/Cat Licenses

Dogs and cats must be licensed by April 1 of each year. New fees this year: $10 altered dog/cat, $17 unaltered dog/cat. To obtain a license for 2021, place the rabies vaccination certificate and payment in the Village Hall drop box. The vaccination certificate along with a receipt and dog/cat tag will be mailed.

Property Tax Bills

Tax bills will mailed on or before December 15. Payments can be paid by placing payment in the 24-hour access drop box at Village Hall outside the south entrance. By mail…checks or money orders only, payable to Village of Kohler, send to 319 Highland Drive, Kohler WI 53044. Receipts will be mailed. In person…the Village Hall will be open from December 28-December 30, 8am-12pm to accept payments.

Food Pantry at Village Hall

Help Your Neighbor food pantry is available at Village Hall in the west entrance by the parking lot. The door is always open for you to come in and pickup up food. There are bags under the table to place food into.

Thank You to all that have donated so far to help your neighbor! People are benefiting from your generosity. To donate non-perishable food items, there is a collection box in the entry by the Kohler Post Office.

Christmas Tree Pickup

Christmas trees will be picked up curbside Tuesday, January 5th and 12th. All ornaments, tinsel and lights MUST be removed. No trees in bags.

Yard Waste and Leaf Collection

Yard waste container pickup will continue up to Tuesday, December 1st. Additionally, leaf collection will continue up to Friday, December 4th.

Village Hall

The Village Hall is staffed but closed to the public until further notice. Tax payments, water/sewer payments or any correspondence for Village Hall can be placed in the drop box located outside the south entrance to Village Hall.
